Providing Environmental Education:


    Education is a key component to the JSWCD's functions, including both youth and adult education.

Defined adult education programs include:

  • Yellow Creek Watershed Restoration Coalition
  • Leap Workshops
  • Timber Harvesting and Management Field Days
  • Multi-County Ag/Natural Resources Conservation Expo
  • Ohio River Sweep
  • Contractors' Workshops
  • Tri-County Teacher Workshop

Defined youth education programs

include:

  • Fernwood Outdoor Days    
  • Water Festivals
  • Envirothon                 
  • Stream Monitoring
