Providing Environmental Education:


    Education is a key component to the JSWCD's functions, including both youth and adult education.

Defined adult education programs include:

  • Yellow Creek Watershed Restoration Committee
  • Leap workshops
  • Timber harvesting and management field days
  • Country Living Field Day
  • Ohio River Sweep
  • Contractors' workshops
  • Tri-County Teacher workshop

Defined youth education programs

include:

  • Fernwood Outdoor Days    
  • Water Festivals
  • Envirothon                 
  • Stream monitoring
